 Mayu’s Kitchen & Co., one of the most popular cooking workshops in Paris, started to offer the best food-culture classes in Asia.   Chef  Mayu, has been trained  in  Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Traditional Japanese Culinary Art <Yanagihara :Kinsa-Ryu> and worked for French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and  international VIP clients as private chef.  She will be happy to assist you into the fun authentic world of French  & Japanese cooking including the starters, main courses, desserts, etc…

We offcer  2 styles of  cooking  classes:

① Group Lesson ( Monthly Menu is fixed by chef , Max 6 students for 3hours )
② Private  Lesson  ( Menu  & Schedule are bespoke & flexible.  SEE BELOW )

Group Lesson:   we learn the basic & important of japanese cookng.  This is key esson for advance/future class.   This basic knowledge is highly varuable & it can be applied to many homemade/complex  japanese dishes.

Starter :  Sunomono :  japanese sweet vinegrette  & cucumber, seaweed
Startar2:  Winter vegetable Miso soup
Main :  Kabayaki White Fish Donburi ( How to cut a whole fish, & homemade sweet soysauce with Japanese pepper)
Rice;   How to make rice ( 5 tip).
Plus:  Japanese Rice, condiments, Wine or Sake /Coffee/Tea

◆ Nov 23(Fri) 11am -1:30pm  FRENCH COOKING◆

Group Lesson :

Startar: Kaki & Cresson Walnut salad  OR Rich Mushroom Potage with homemade truffle crouton.
Main: French Classic! Seafood Blanquette, (White Seafood stew)
Dessseert: Homemade Lemon card mousse. OR  Pumpkin  pudding with caramel.

—- including:  wine, softdring, tea, coffee.

Chef takes you through the whole meal process (startar, main dish, dessert) and everyone will enjoy the meal as a reward. ◆ Your Private CLASSES ◆

On top of  Group lesson For english speaker ( 2 tiimes per month), you can creat your PRIVATE class,

Choose your favourite menu &  you can create a private clas, the schedule  & menu are more flexible.
i)  minimum 4 persons to make a class, The location is  Mayu’s kitchen for 10am-1pm, or 2:30pm to 5pm. (minimum 3200HKD/ a  3 hours class, depends on the ingredients without drink. bring your own, if you like)
ii)  1 person- 1 teacher private class;   You are the only student for 2hours class:   Menu & schedule are bespoke.  Chef can teach you step by step,  according to your level.  (2400HKD/ a  3 hours class, or  2100HKD per time for 3 class packqges.)
iii) Location is your place (Kowloon or HK island), daytime or evening/weekend class.  Available After 26 Oct .( minimum 6 persons ( or minimum 5000hkd total, without drink)
OTHER:   Mayu’s Kitchen offer private chef service, ( chef will be at your kitchen & cook, NOT catering) I am available after 27 October  . Pls see the details and minimum charges/ rules are in my website.http://mayu-kitchen.com/

Main 1 : Japanese traditional  Gyoza ( Pork, Cabbage)
Main 2 :  Chicken & Olive Gyoza
Side:  Homemade  Gyoza sauce ( Introduction of basic japanese sauce & condiments, differences)
Plus: Basic of JAPANESE rice:  How to cook Japanese rice fluffy & delicious way,

(1) French Cooking  (TBA in November)   –  Gourmet Cooking Workshop  (3hours)

Startar:   Mushroom potage or Pear & Bluecheese salad
Main Dish:   Holloween Mini pumpkin gratine ,or  Normandy style Mussel Pot,  or Mushroom Wellington,
Dessert:  Pumpkin baked pudding or  French Very Very apple soft cake

(2) French Cooking  – Basic Class No1 

We learn …
1) One of the 5 French Mother Sauces – (  Béchamel, Velouté, Espagnole, Tomato, & Hollandaise)
2) French vegetable cuts & basic term of aromatic vegetable, and definition
3) Tomato nutrition, how to conserve,  various kinds
4) One of 3 types of pastry doughs  (pâte brisée)
