With chef’s tips and assistance,  you will enrich your skills and get a wider view of the art of french cooking. Workshops take place in Mayu’s Kitchen.  Chef takes you through the whole meal process (startar, main dish, dessert) and everyone will enjoy the meal as a reward. Certificated Courses(Basic, Intermediate, Advance)

Long term courses are open to everyone for the different level of objectives.  Starting Basic course, you will gain your repertories  of  healthy French cooking & skills to present your dish beautifully & elegantly   By the time of completion of advance course,  you will master the necessary skills to become a cooking instructor and to create fine cuisine dishes.  These courses are the combination of practical sessions, demonstrations and theory lessons.   Completion of the Basic, Intermediate and Advance Cuisine certificates results in the award of Cuisine.  Teach in small group. Seats are limited.

==BASIC Course==

Basic Cuisine Course opens the door to the adventures and traditions of French cuisine. This course open for everyone, food & cooking lovers, busy mums.   Objective is to begin to build their culinary skills and learn new ingredients including unfamiliar vegetables, herbs and spices.  You will  improve & increase # of recipes to make your family and friends happier by their cooking.

==Intermediate Course==

Applying all the basic knowledge & techniques learned in the BASIC course,  you will further dig into the world of French food culture.  Objective is to learn party menu, finger food, also specific ecipes & ingredients that is good pairing with the  selected wine.  Through practice and repetition, you begin to perform tasks more easily and instinctively.

  • Introduction of  world best ingredients, European/Asian organic vegetables & fruits, herbs.
  • Product origins and influence on French regional cuisine
  • Food Presentation for special occasions.
  • More advanced technical cuts and presentation
  • Introduction to color, taste and texture combination
  • Basic knowledge of wine

==Advance Course==

As East meets West, French cuisine today is often integration into global contemporary cuisine.  Objective is to learn modern & global cuisines and develop your creativity to make  your own recipes.  You will apply all the techniques acquired in the 2 preceding courses, and  combine with  seasonal products, Asian variations and influences.   Also, you will learn sets of skills to be instructor.
  • Organization, Precision and efficiency in the kitchen
  • Recipe production with rare produce, like foie gras, truffles, delicate French meats
  • Menu and wine pairing
  • Presentation & decoration & development of personal creativity

NOTE:

  • Bookings can be made in order of priority & will become effective upon the settlement of tuition fee.
  • Payment is by check or direct payment (bank transfer) at least 3 days before the day of the class

Cancellation policy:

  • Reservation date can be rescheduled, if canceled more than 3 days prior to booking start date
  • If cancelled less than 2 days prior to booking start date, a partial refund of 50% of the cost of the class or reservation date can be rescheduled in case the seat is available in next 2 days.
  • No cancellation notice, or If canceled less than 24 hours prior to booking start date, no refund is issued
  • T8 or above:  All of our service is cancelled/postponed.
