English speaking Cooking Class!

 Mayu’s Kitchen & Co., one of the most popular cooking workshops in Paris, started to offer the best food-culture classes in Asia.   Chef  Mayu, has been trained  in  Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Traditional Japanese Culinary Art <Yanagihara :Kinsa-Ryu> and worked for French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and  international VIP clients as private chef.  She will be happy to assist you into the fun authentic world of French  & Japanese cooking including the starters, main courses, desserts, etc…

We offcer  2 styles of  cooking  classes:

① Group Lesson ( Monthly Menu is fixed by chef , Max 6 students for 3hours )
② Private  Lesson  ( Menu  & Schedule are bespoke & flexible.  SEE BELOW )

If you are early bird and want to go around local market with Chef,  pls let us know.  We wll have a local breakfast at a wet market, and go around fish  and vegetable shops before the class start.  It is about 1hour.    The meeting point will be after the full registration.  Pls follow booking instruction.

Cancellation policy:

  • Reservation date can be rescheduled, if canceled more than 3 days prior to booking start date
  • If canceled less than 2 days prior to booking start date, a partial refund of 50% of the cost of the class or reservation date can be rescheduled in case the seat is available in next 2 days.
  • No cancellation notice, or If canceled less than 24 hours prior to booking start date, no refund is issued

◆ Your Private CLASSES ◆

On top of  Group lesson For english speaker ( 2 tiimes per month), you can creat your PRIVATE class,

Choose your favourite menu &  you can create a private clas, the schedule  & menu are more flexible.
i)  minimum 4 persons to make a class, The location is  Mayu’s kitchen for 10am-1pm, or 2:30pm to 5pm. (minimum 3200HKD/ a  3 hours class, depends on the ingredients without drink. bring your own, if you like)
ii)  1 person- 1 teacher private class;   You are the only student for 2hours class:   Menu & schedule are bespoke.  Chef can teach you step by step,  according to your level.  (2400HKD/ a  3 hours class, or  2100HKD per time for 3 class packqges.)
iii) Location is your place (Kowloon or HK island), daytime or evening/weekend class.  Available After 26 Oct .( minimum 6 persons ( or minimum 5000hkd total, without drink)

Marché aux poissons de Tsukiji à HK!

Hong Kong version of the Tsukiji fish market,”Yamataka Seafood Market (築地 • 山貴水產市場) ”  officially opened a week ago on the 2/F of the Wan Chai Ferry Terminal in the  massive area of 11,000 sq, with a beautiful Victoria Harbour view.

「香港バージョンの築地市場!」の謳い文句で”築地 • 山貴水產市場”が公式オープン! ビクトリアハーバーの目の前、湾仔フェリーターミナルの2階、どど〜んとでっかく書かれた”築地”という文字。なんだかワクワク❤️

Hong Kong version du marché des poissons de Tsukiji, “Marché des pêcherie de Yamataka (築 地 • 山 貴水產 市場)” a officiellement ouvert il ya une semaine sur le 2 / F du Wan Chai Ferry Terminal dans la zone massive de 11.000 sq avec une belle vue Victoria Harbour.

Of course, not REAL Tsukiji Market in Japan where professionals seriously choose fish,  but, here is very fun & exiting for all of family and friends.  “Tsukiji·Yamataka Seafood Market” offer  an experience, like a “theme park,  including, live tuna-cutting demonstration, sushi-eatery,  sake degustations, & large fish tanks with full of seafood.

本物の築地市場はプロが真剣に魚を目利きして調達する卸市場ですが、”築地 • 山貴水產市場”は全然違う!。正直、外国人から見た”築地市場”で、日本人から見ると、なんだかお寿司と魚のイベントパークみたい(笑)。 マグロの解体ショー(マグロが神輿に乗ってやってくる!)、回転寿司ならぬ立ち食い寿司、お酒の試飲会場に、売り物の魚の大きな水槽、マグロの頭はインテリアデザイン? などなど。

Bien sûr, pas vraiment marché Tsukiji au Japon où les professionnels choisissent sérieusement poissons, mais, ici est très amusant et sortant pour toute la famille et les amis. «Tsukiji · Yamataka Seafood Market» offre une expérience, comme un “parc d’attractions”, y compris, le spectacle de thon-découpage en direct, sushi-eatery, sake dégustations, et grands réservoirs de poissons avec plein de fruits de mer.

On top of fresh seafood flown in from Tsukiji daily, Excellent line-ups of  Premiums Japanese Sakes, that Japanese people  can not get easily in their own county.  Now  I know why,  all are exported to HK!!

魚は築地から毎日空輸ってのもすごいですが、日本人が飲めなくなってしまった、プレミアつきのお酒がゴロゴロ〜っと売っているのはもっと驚きです。日本から絶滅の危機にさらされていたお酒は海外輸出の対象だったのね。。。あ〜嬉しいやら悲しいやら。。

En plus de poisson frais par avion de Tsukiji par jour, excellentes parade de  sakés japonaises Primes, que les Japonais ne peuvent pas obtenir facilement dans leur propre japon. Maintenant je sais pourquoi, tous sont exportés vers HK !!

The eatery sections has 3 food stations including hamayaki, seafood donburi and stand-up sushi bar.  We tried seafood Donburi,  it is not bad. More expensive bonburi has Uni (Canadian sea urchin), King Crabs and real sashimi, instead of “minced” fish.

中に入るとお食事どころがテーママーク!立ち食い寿司、海鮮丼、浜焼きがあって、海鮮丼屋に入ってみました。長蛇の列!!そこそこお手ごろ値段の山貴丼を頼んだら、刺身じゃなくて、アジのたたきみたいになったサーモンとマグロと何やらわからない魚ミックスが山盛り。高いのはウニとかたらば蟹の爪とか付いてます。

3 stations incluent hamayaki (grillé et rôti), donburi de fruits de mer, et stand-up sushi bar. Nous avons essayé des  Donburi, ce n’est pas mal.  Les donburi Plus cher ony  Uni (oursin canadien), King Crabs et de vrais sashimi, au lieu de “haché” du poisson.

Wow! Umeshu bar with many different types of umeshu for degustation. Foreigners often love umeshu, much more  than Japanese Sake.This is excelent idea to introduce Japanese bseverage.

梅酒バー。いいね〜これ。 日本酒をウイスキーみたいに強い酒!と思ってNO!という人は結構いますが、梅酒は”大好き”という外国人は多いんです。 この梅酒バー、いいアイデア! 日本の”美味しい”の間口を広げてる感じです。

oh là là Umeshu bar avec de beaucoup différents d’umeshu pour la dégustation. Souvent,  les étrangers aiment l’umeshu, bien plus que les sakes japonais. C’est une excellente idée d’introduire le bseverage japonais.

Well done!  Well done! Asia and HK people here are passionate about Japanese food, especially sushi, & more from “Tsukiji Market” as such a famous brand .  This place, for sure, not only arouse their interest, but also stimulate their appetite, even more!

香港やアジアの人は日本食が大好き。パリの日本食ブームよりもっとすごい!特に”築地”なんていうブランドが付いてしまうと、ただのお寿司やその辺のお魚でも、とびっきり美味しく感じるんでしょうね。ここは香港人の食欲をモリモリ増長させるだけでなく、ブランド価値=築地市場ってところで食べるっていうステータスまだ掻き立てちゃう。恐るべし山貴水産のビジネス戦略だわ。
